The translator is authorized by the Ministry of Justice of Romania to provide translation and interpreting services for the High Council of Magistracy, the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the National Anticorruption Directorate, criminal prosecution bodies, courts, public notaries, lawyers, and bailiffs. The text of the translation is accompanied by a certification statement confirming that the translation is complete, without omissions, and that the content and meaning of the written document have not been distorted.

Certified translations are translations that require the signature and stamp of the translator. The translator is certified by the Ministry of Culture and National Identity of Romania in a specialized field (e.g., legal sciences, economic sciences, medicine-pharmacy, technical, literature, history, etc.) after passing an exam at the National Institute for Research and National Training.

Legalized translations are authorized translations that require the legalization of the authorized translator's signature by a public notary where the authorized translator has deposited their signature specimen and stamp. The procedure involves verifying the authenticity of the signature and stamp of the authorized translator applied on the document. The translated text is accompanied by a copy of the original document, as well as a certification statement of the translation and the legalization of the translator's signature. The documents are presented in original and involve a notary fee.

Simple translations are translations that do not require the signature and stamp of the authorized translator and are used for unofficial purposes (e.g., documents for internal communication or personal documents such as a CV or cover letter, etc.).

Legal interpretation represents the activity of the interpreter assisting foreign citizen clients in the procedures of signing documents before Romanian authorities (judicial courts, prosecuting bodies, Immigration Office, Civil Status Office, etc.) and legal professionals (notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, jurists, insolvency practitioners, etc.). Providing interpretation services in a legal context involves a responsibility of both an ethical and legal nature, as well as professional training in the field of interpretation and familiarity with legal terminology at an advanced level.
